Inbound Sales Development Representative

Lead Qualification & Appointment Setting, Home Services

Sugar Land, TX HQ (On-site)Full-time, 35-hour week$60,000–$72,000

This is not a typical call center job

JWeis is not a typical agency, and we have not built a typical workplace. We're a fast-growing Revenue Growth Partner and technology company serving established contractors nationwide, operating at the intersection of sales, marketing, technology, and AI through the JWeis and SiloOS ecosystem.

We've built a high-performance, high-energy culture filled with A-players who move fast, take ownership, and genuinely enjoy working together. We work hard, celebrate wins, invest in our people, take staff outings, and create real opportunities for talented people to grow inside the company. We built a badass organization, and we're looking for another badass person to join it.

This seat is part of our Lead Management Team. You'll turn inbound leads into qualified appointments and live conversations for our contractor clients. When a lead comes in, you need to quickly understand who they are, what they need, whether they qualify, and what should happen next. That might mean booking an appointment, handling a light objection, following up by text, or transferring the call straight to our client with a professional introduction.

You'll work from a three-monitor station, moving between CRM records, phone systems, calendars, text conversations, AI communications, and multiple client accounts. For a seasoned SDR the work is straightforward. Our standards for speed, communication, documentation, and reliability are what make it demanding.

What you'll own

Inbound response & qualification

  • Respond quickly to inbound leads by phone and by text.
  • Speak professionally with homeowners, commercial property owners, and business owners.
  • Ask the right questions to understand the project and qualify the opportunity.
  • Handle light objections and move the conversation toward the next step.

Appointments & warm transfers

  • Schedule qualified appointments for our clients.
  • Warm-transfer live calls and give a polished introduction between the prospect and our client.
  • Follow up consistently with leads who do not respond the first time.

AI-assisted conversations

  • Review AI conversations and decide when human involvement is needed.
  • Step in at the point where a real conversation moves the lead further than an automated one.

Multi-account accuracy

  • Work across multiple client accounts without confusing companies, offers, service areas, or lead information.
  • Maintain accurate lead stages, tasks, appointments, and outcomes inside the CRM.
  • Make sure leads and opportunities do not fall through the cracks.

Documentation & communication

  • Write detailed notes that explain what happened, what the lead needs, what was discussed, and what should happen next.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal leadership.
  • Take instructions from the department head, ask intelligent questions when necessary, and execute without repeated reminders.

What the day-to-day looks like

  1. 1Work your queue of new inbound leads and respond by phone and text within minutes.
  2. 2Qualify the project, the timeline, and the fit, then decide the next step on the call.
  3. 3Book qualified appointments straight onto the client’s calendar.
  4. 4Warm-transfer live callers and introduce them to our client.
  5. 5Review AI conversations and take over the ones that need a person.
  6. 6Run persistent follow-up on the leads who did not answer the first attempt.
  7. 7Log every stage, task, appointment, and outcome in the CRM with notes that stand on their own.

What we consider non-negotiable

Punctuality and reliability

Being on time is part of the job. If the workday begins at 9:00, you are logged in, prepared, and ready to work at 9:00.

Exceptional communication

You communicate clearly and professionally on the phone, over text, inside the CRM, and with our clients. Strong vocabulary, grammar, spelling, tone, and written articulation are essential.

Excellent documentation

Your notes let the client or the department head understand exactly what happened without calling you for clarification.

Speed and technical ability

You type quickly, navigate multiple systems, manage several windows, and process information without getting overwhelmed.

Sales ability

This is not a customer service position. You understand lead qualification, appointment setting, conversational control, persistent follow-up, warm transfers, and light objection handling.

Coachability

You take instruction, apply feedback, follow established processes, and communicate effectively with the department head.

What we're looking for

Non-negotiable

  • At least two years of direct SDR, appointment-setting, inside-sales, or lead-conversion experience. Three or more years preferred.
  • A strong, confident phone presence with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute with strong accuracy.
  • Hands-on experience with CRMs, phone systems, calendars, and text-messaging platforms.
  • The ability to work full-time from our Sugar Land office.

You must also be:

  • Able to listen, think, type, and make decisions at the same time.
  • Able to take clear, accurate, and useful notes during a live conversation.
  • Detail-oriented about lead information and the differences between accounts.
  • Calm, organized, and professional in a fast-moving environment.
  • Reliable in attendance and consistent in punctuality.
  • Able to take direction and execute without constant supervision.

Helpful, but not required:

  • Experience in roofing, home services, insurance, real estate, automotive sales, solar, remodeling, or another appointment-driven industry.
  • A college degree is not required. We care more about your ability, experience, communication, reliability, and work ethic.

Who this is not for

  • Anyone whose experience is inbound customer service only, with no lead qualification or appointment setting.
  • Anyone who needs reminders to follow up or to write their notes.
  • Anyone who loses track of which client, offer, or service area a lead belongs to.
  • Anyone who treats a 9:00 start time as a suggestion.
  • Anyone looking for remote or hybrid work.

  • Approximately 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
  • 10 days PTO plus paid holidays.
  • Comprehensive health benefits.
  • Annual bonus opportunities.
  • A modern three-monitor workstation.
  • Training and support from experienced leadership, plus advancement for exceptional performers.
  • In-office culture with team outings, charity initiatives, and an environment that actually values your input.
