About the role
JWeis is looking for an expert-level Meta Media Buyer to manage a large portfolio of client advertising accounts. This is not an entry-level position, and it is not a client-facing account management role.
We're looking for someone who has worked in a performance marketing agency environment, has personally managed 20+ advertising accounts simultaneously, and knows Meta Ads Manager inside and out.
You'll spend your day in the accounts: launching, analyzing, optimizing, testing, scaling, troubleshooting, and determining exactly what needs to happen next.
We need someone who can own this seat without being babysat.
What you'll own
- Launching and managing Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
- Managing 30 to 60 client advertising accounts
- Campaign, ad set, audience, budget, and ad configuration
- Lead generation, Instant Forms, and conversion campaigns
- Daily performance monitoring and optimization
- Budget allocation and pacing
- Testing and scaling
- Creative performance analysis
- Identifying creative fatigue and when new creative is needed
- Troubleshooting underperforming campaigns
- Pixel, CAPI, tracking, and attribution awareness
- Maintaining clean account structures, naming conventions, and documentation
- Prioritizing accounts based on performance, urgency, and opportunity
You are responsible for knowing what's happening across your portfolio and taking action before someone has to tell you.
You need to know what the data is telling you
We're not looking for someone who sees CPL increase and starts randomly changing things. You should be extremely comfortable analyzing metrics such as:
Spend, CPM, frequency, hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPL, qualified opportunities, booked appointments, CAC, ROAS, and downstream revenue.
More importantly, you need to understand how those metrics work together. You should be able to determine whether a performance problem is likely coming from the:
- Creative
- Hook
- Copy
- Offer
- Audience
- Frequency
- Fatigue
- Form
- Landing page
- Tracking
- Budget
- Campaign structure
- Lead quality
Then determine what action should be taken.
You should know when to kill something, when to leave it alone, when you need more data, when to introduce new creative, when something is fatiguing, when and how to scale, and when the problem isn't actually inside the ad account.
Creative matters
You won't be responsible for designing or editing the ads. We have a creative team for that.
But you need to understand creative performance well enough to tell them what is working, what isn't, what is fatiguing, what patterns you're seeing, and what needs to be tested next.
"We need new creative" isn't enough. We expect you to understand why.
Experience required
We're looking for someone with
- Significant hands-on Meta media buying experience
- Performance marketing agency experience
- Experience personally managing at least 20 advertising accounts simultaneously
- Deep knowledge of Meta Ads Manager
- Experience with lead-generation campaigns
- Strong analytical and diagnostic ability
- Experience testing, optimizing, and scaling campaigns
- Understanding of creative testing and fatigue
- Understanding of conversion funnels, tracking, attribution, Pixel, and CAPI
- Ability to manage a large portfolio without accounts falling through the cracks
- Ability to work independently and make decisions without constant supervision
Strongly preferred
- Experience managing 30+ accounts simultaneously is strongly preferred.
- Experience owning your own agency, managing local lead generation, home services, or high-ticket lead generation is a major plus.
About JWeis
JWeis is a performance marketing agency specializing heavily in the home and outdoor improvement space. We care about generating qualified opportunities, booked appointments, customers, and revenue, not vanity metrics.
You'll work alongside our media, creative, growth, technology, and leadership teams, but you will not be sitting on client calls all day. We want you focused on buying media and improving performance.
This position is not for you if
- Your Meta experience is primarily managing your own company’s ads.
- Your experience is boosting posts or managing a few accounts.
- You reported on campaigns someone else actually ran.
- You learned media buying through courses and certifications.
We're hiring an experienced operator. We're not training someone to become a media buyer.
Compensation & benefits
$85,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience and demonstrated ability.
This is a full-time, 100% in-house position in Sugar Land, TX 77478. No remote. No hybrid.
If you've managed dozens of Meta accounts simultaneously, know how to diagnose performance instead of guessing, and want to spend your day actually buying media instead of sitting on client calls, we want to hear from you.
- Competitive salary from $85,000 to $110,000 based on experience and demonstrated ability.
- Approximately 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- 10 days PTO plus paid holidays.
- Comprehensive health benefits.
- Annual bonus opportunities.
- A modern three-monitor workstation.
- Training and support from experienced leadership, plus advancement for exceptional performers.
- In-office culture with team outings, charity initiatives, and an environment that actually values your input.
